Miss Lakeland, Miss Florida Sunshine Pageants - Miss FL Sunshine Website: www.cassielstafford.com Cassie Stafford is 20 years old and was born in Germany residing there for 4 years. Cassie is the Spokesperson for Reaching Out Against Eating Disorders, she has volunteered with the 1st Annual NEDA walk in New York City. Cassie is also a volunteer for the Alliance for Eating Disorders Awareness, she is also a new volunteer and advocate for H.O.P.E. Helping Other People Eat. In highschool she was captain of the Palm Beach Gardens Gatorettes Dance Team; Captain of the Palm Beach Gardens High School Debate Team and Historian of H.O.S.A..Today she is developing a program for elementary and middle school age children about the importance of a positive body image. Cassie recently developed a coloring activity book with a grant awarded to her by Dare to Dream America to educate young people on maintaining a healthy body image. Cassie has obtained a Associates of Arts degree in Psychology and will continue her education at Florida Atlantic University in August 2010. She aspires to be a Clinical Psychologist specializing in eating disorders and body image.
